For timetables or schedules:

In future time clauses after: when, as soon as, after, etc. or (the) next time:

Present continuous

Formula:
Subject + am/is/are + V-ing
Subject + am/is/are + not + V-ing
Am/is/are + subject + V-ing
Used:
Used in a near future, future arrangement:
I’m playing football this Saturday.
Something happening right now, currently:
Tom is chewing gum right now.
Something happening around the time of speaking: today, this week, this month etc:
Sandra is writing a test this week.
Annoying habit/praise with: always, constantly, continuously:
He’s always/constantly/continuously hitting people.
Present Perfect

Formula:
Subject + have/ has + V3 (ed)
Subject + haven’t/ hasn’t + V3 (ed)
Have/ Has + Subject + V3 (ed)
Used:
The action were the situation has lasted for some period of time: for, since:
Samantha has been engaged for 6 weeks. I have been married since august.
Completed experience:
I’ve lived in Japan.
Recently finished situations:
I’ve (just) left the house.
I haven’t seen Julio since she got married last year.
Prieš since turim present perfect po since turim past simple.

Present perfect continuous

Formula:

Used to explain:
The activity that began in the past and is still in progress: for, since:
I have been explaining for 10 minutes.
The activity that started in the past, has just stopped and explains the present situation.
“Why are you so read?”, “I have been running”.
Past simple
