Contemplations standing at the threshold of the New Year

Nowadays people’s everyday life is like routine. Every morning we get up, dress ourselves, have breakfast, go to work or school, have dinner, come home, spend the evening with family, and go to sleep. Next morning everything repeats. Very few people every evening think about the past day, about things or events that have happened during the day. The Christmas, the New Year and, generally the end of the year, is the time, when all people think about the last year, appreciate their good and bad works and hope that the following year will be better for themselves and their families.
Most of the thoughts that revolve around in people’s minds during the Advent are associated with the existence, being in this world. Why do we live in this world? Are there any other worlds beside us? How old is in the Universe, what is its origin? Are we alone in the Universe? Such questions emerge people, thinking about their life. Nowadays science and, particularly astronomy science, can answer these questions.
Nowadays the origin of the Universe is explained by the Big Bang theory. The Big Bang theory proposes (teigia) that the universe was once extremely compact, dense (tankus), and hot matter. Then a huge cosmic explosion took place and called the big bang, which occurred about 14 billion years ago. Since then the universe has been expanding and cooling. The overall framework of the Big Bang theory came out of solutions to Albert Einstein’s general relativity theory and remains unchanged, but various details of the theory are still being modified...
