here‘s why.
your lighting is too dark you cant really see the image properly, the
saturation is too low and in result it doesnt turn out that great. And if your
lighting is too bright, the photo looks bad because saturation is too high
and it looks like your photographing the sun.
Mood is also a key ingredient for taking good photographs. If youre taking
a picture of a person, and she or he is feeling down, you can really see it
in the picture and that makes it easier while youre editing it. In this case,
darken the photo to repreasent the mood of it: dark, sad, moody. And if
youre photographing a happy person, the picture automaticaly shows the
happy aspects of it so you when you edit it you can use warm tones to
highlight the persons mood.
Next crucial part of taking the best photo is quality. Everyone has different
taste, and some people may dissagree with me, but quality really makes a
big diference. If you like the vintage vibe for your photographs you can
use old film cameras, polaroids and so on. However if you like good, sharp
quality pictures you can use your phone or invest in a photo camera. This
part really depends on what you prefer, but personally for me i like the
vintage vibe more, and when I use my phone i like to edit it to look like it
was taken using an old camera.
